Today's Devotional

How Was I To Know?

November 1, 2009

It was high-school concert season, and the music students were preparing for the big Christmas extravaganza. The teacher had clearly communicated every detail to the students and to the parents—on two different occasions—and the time for mandatory rehearsal was clearly spelled out.

Since 1938, RBC Ministries (formerly Radio Bible Class) has offered inspirational and Bible-study programs and materials without cost or obligation to millions of people around the world.

Today we remain committed not to burden our friends and members with fundraising appeals. As a result of this practice, many people have assumed that our work is underwritten or sponsored by a large organization or denomination. This, however, is not the case. For almost seven decades, we have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with thousands of individuals, families, and churches who have voluntarily contributed to make our nondenominational work possible.

This Internet site is now increasing our opportunity to make audio, video, and print content available to those who have Web access. Through it, we regularly offer additional resources for a gift of any amount. This open-handed approach is designed to make our resources available to anyone who wants them, while also covering our costs. Anything above that will go toward the fulfillment of our mission.

To learn about other ways some of our friends have chosen to give to RBC, please look through the "More About Donations" links on the left side of this page.
