This Saturday, Sports Spectrum will take you live to south Florida. It is a historical weekend in NASCAR as Jimmie Johnson will be going for his fourth straight title in the Chase for the Championship. No one has ever done it before.
Can Johnson do it? We will go live to Homestead, Florida, and talk with one of our racing analysts, Billy Mauldin from Motor Racing Outreach. Billy will provide some biblical perspective to the year in NASCAR.
Sports Spectrum chaplain Bill Crowder will join us. He will share his thoughts on the value of consistency in sports. It is consistency that makes athletes such as Jimmie Johnson and baseball’s Mariano Rivera a champion.
We will also take an early season look at the National Hockey League. Former NHL player Mark Osborne will share his thoughts on the season. He will also provide some behind the scene stories of faith from the NHL.
We’ll also include your phone call and plenty of college football talk on the next Sports Spectrum.
